It is our greatest pleasure to invite you on behalf of the Organizing Committee, INSTITUTE OF ECOTOXICOLOGY AND ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES to join and participate in the 4th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON ECOTOXICOLOGY & ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCES to be held in New Delhi, India from 17-19 February 2014.

 

The organizing committee of the conference, in consultation with the International Scientific Committee has chalked out an outstanding program involving internationally acclaimed experts who will not only participate in plenary lectures but will also interact personally with interested participants. The objective of the conference is to strengthen the scientists across all sectors viz. Industry, Government and Academia with improved knowledge to meet societal demands for managing environmental toxicants vis-ΰ-vis their threats in a progressive society concomitant with sustainable development.

 

The conference will also address major aspects of Environmental Sciences including Environmental Awareness and Education. A special oral session will be dedicated for the young Scientists and the best two papers will be selected by a panel of specially constituted international judges for award of Gold and Silver medals of the Institute.

SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS: Registered participants are entitled to submit more than one abstracts as presenting author, and may be co-author of further abstracts. Instructions for preparation and submission of abstracts are given below:

Abstract to be submitted electronically (e-mail: badalbhattacharya@hotmail.com, sarmiladatta@yahoo.com, drakmitra01@rediffmail.com  and the text should be within 300 words.  Author should use 1.5 lines Times New Roman or Arial font not smaller than 12 point in order to ensure legibility. Participants can send papers for poster sessions also. A fully completed registration form with appropriate registration fee must accompany the abstract so as to reach the Secretariat not later than 30 September 2013. Full text of the paper must be submitted to the Secretariat within 30 November 2013 electronically within 4000 words including references in Microsoft WORD for publication in the proceedings of the conference. Some selected papers as recommended by the peer review committee will be published in the specially edited volume after the conference is over. 

 

ACCOMMODATION:

Accommodation for participants will be arranged in the selected Guest Houses/Hotels in Delhi, depending on the availability. Participants interested in accommodation, should write to the Secretariat at an early date not later than 30 November 2013 along with a demand draft / bank transfer of listed rates given for four nights and five days for Indian Nationals only. Accommodation charge payable for participants from SAARC Countries is US$150. Payment must be made in favor of “Institute of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Sciences” indicating type of accommodation intended (Single/Double). Registered Foreign nationals other than from SAARC Countries will be provided accommodation on payment of Registration money only.
